TORONTO — Choice Hotels Canada opened two hotels during the third quarter of 2017, growing the total number of open properties in the system to 330. Quality Hotel et Centre de Congrès — a 113-room conversion in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que. — and the 53-room Champlain Waterfront Hotel, an Ascend Hotel Collection in Orillia, Ont.

The company expects to open four hotels in the final quarter of 2017.
