TORONTO — Robert Housez is the new GM at The Chelsea Hotel, Toronto.
Housez, an industry veteran, was recently recognized by the Ontario Hostelry Institute with the Gold Award as Hotelier of the Year 2015. With more than 30 years of industry experience under his belt, he has served as board member for both Tourism Toronto and the Mississauga Tourism Advisory Council as well as an executive board member and chairman of the Greater Toronto Hotel Association.
Housez is no stranger to the Chelsea Hotel, having previously served as hotel manager/GM for nearly nine years. “We are very pleased to welcome Rob back to the Chelsea Hotel,” said Josef Ebner, regional VP – Canada and managing director. “He is a seasoned hotelier with extensive experience and well suited to lead our very ambitious hotel team.”
