LONDON, U.K. — The World Travel Awards (WTA) has announced its 2018 Caribbean & North America regional winners.
This year’s awards recognized several Canadian entities as leaders within the North American market in addition to the leading Canadian properties in five categories.

North America’s Leading Airport Hotel — Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites
North America’s Leading Green Hotel — Fairmont Royal York, Toronto
North America’s Leading Sports Tourism Destination — Vancouver
North America’s Responsible Tourism Award — Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association
Canada’s Leading Boutique Hotel — L’Hermitage Hotel Vancouver
Canada’s Leading Business Hotel — Hilton Toronto
Canada’s Leading Hotel — Fairmont Royal York, Toronto
Canada’s Leading Hotel Suite — Four Seasons Hotel Toronto
Canada’s Leading Wilderness Resort — Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, Tofino, B.C.
Hilton Hotels & Resorts was also named North America’s Leading Hotel Brand for 2018.
The regional winners from the 25th annual WTA Grad Tour will progress to the Grand Final 2018, which is being hosted in Lisbon, Portugal on December 1st.
