CALGARY — The newly redesigned Calgary Marriott Downtown will be the first Marriott in Canada to offer Netflix as part of its new Managed Video Platform (MVP) by GuestTek, via its Guest Room Entertainment experience (GRE). Guest access to other digital platforms, including YouTube, Crackle, Hulu, Rhrapsody and Pandora, will also be part of the GRE-MVP package.

“As part of our recent multi-million dollar renovation, we knew we wanted to marry the very best in luxury and design with the latest technology to provide our guests with a complete and truly holistic experience,” says Joseph Clohessy, GM, Calgary Marriott Downtown. “Incorporating the GRE solution is part of our commitment to elevate the experience of today’s digital-savvy travellers who work hard, play hard and want access to their favourite digital entertainment.”

Additional tech features will let guests keep track of their purchases and tabs and offer express check-out capabilities.
