GATINEAU, Que — A $1-million renovation has just been completed at the Best Western Plus Gatineau-Ottawa Hotel & Conference Centre, with updates to guestrooms and public spaces.
“The ownership of the Best Western Plus Gatineau-Ottawa Hotel & Conference Centre is committed to providing a superior hotel experience, and this is demonstrated in the quality and style of the renovations,” said Martin Fogarty, GM. “We have stripped away the old hotel guestrooms’ interior to the concrete and built it back out again.”
Renovations were made to the hotel’s 133 guestrooms and suites. The updated rooms include new carpet, furnishings, bedding and flat-screen televisions. The four banquet rooms have also been upgraded with wireless and wired high-speed Internet. What’s more, the hotel now offers catering menu options for all occasions and conferences for up to 220 people.
And, although the guestroom and public-space renovation is complete, the management team is hoping to continue the hotel makeover in 2014, with a focus on the lobby and the building’s exterior.
