SAINT JOHN, N.B., — Hilton Worldwide has appointed Allison Fraser GM of the Hilton Saint John in Saint John, N.B.

“I’m ecstatic to be working for Hilton — they have amazing energy,” said Fraser, who drove for five days across Canada through inclement weather to take her new post. “I’m happy to be in the Maritimes with the wonderful people of Saint John. Anyone would be blessed to be working here.”

Fraser brings a wealth of experience to her new post. She was GM of the Emerald Lake Lodge in Field, B.C., which was awarded a Readers’ Choice Awards by Condé Nast Traveler during her tenure. Additionally, Fraser was GM of the Garden Court De Waal and the four-star Cullinan Hotel, both in Cape Town, South Africa, among other hotel management positions.

Fraser will oversee the 197-room Hilton property and manage the Saint John Trade & Convention Centre located next door to the hotel.

“With her experience in a specialized resort venue, Allison brings a unique perspective on delivering high-touch service that will benefit the Hilton Saint John,” said Ted R. Ratcliff, SVP, Operations, Eastern North America, Hilton Worldwide. “Allison’s strong managerial experience will serve her well in managing both the food and beverage operations at both the hotel and the connecting Saint John Trade & Convention Centre.”

Fraser succeeds Tammy LeBlanc, who was recently appointed GM of the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites.
