MONTREAL — Alex Kassatly is the new general manager of Le Germain Hotel Ottawa, which will open its doors in downtown Ottawa this winter.
The hotel will occupy a state-of-the-art mixed-use building that will be an integral part of the Ottawa Art Gallery expansion and Arts Court redevelopment. The complex will comprise the hotel, ArtHaus private residences, a theatre and an art gallery.
Kassatly has decades of experience, notably as general manager of Château Frontenac and Manoir Richelieu, in Quebec City, but also at the helm of prestigious properties in China, Egypt and Dubai. More recently, he took a break from the hotel industry to study photography.
