SAN FRANSISCO, Calif. — Airbnb Inc. is in talks to acquire Montreal-based Luxury Retreats International Inc., Bloomberg reports.
Airbnb’s board of directors met last week to approve the purchase, which is expected to garner approximately $300 million in cash and stock.
Luxury Retreats, which has more than 4,000 properties around the world, would be Airbnb’s largest acquisition and would help it expand into the luxury rentals market.
