TORONTO — Temple Hotels Inc. is building its hotel portfolio in Alberta with its newest acquisition, the Acclaim Hotel, Calgary Airport. Atlific Hotels will assume management.

“Atlific is pleased to continue to grow its relationship with Temple Hotels Inc.,” said Philippe Gadbois, SVP Operations, Atlific Hotels. “We are happy to strengthen our presence in Alberta and are especially pleased to return to the Calgary market.”

Kelly Anne Yeaman has been appointed GM of the hotel. She has spent 13 years managing Atlific properties, including the Lake Louise Inn in Banff National Park and the Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Airport. She has also served as the area director for four different Toronto Airport hotels.

The 225-room property, located at 123 Freeport Blvd. N.E., offers 6,500 sq. ft. of meeting space, two whirlpools on the rooftop sky deck, free Wi-Fi and onsite food-and-drink options, Pacini Pasta and Wine Bar Lounge. Guestrooms feature 42-inch flatscreen TVs, Euro Spa massage showers and optional studio suites with a wet bar.
